1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VONO AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

VONO AI is a privacy-focused personal voice assistant that records your conversations with your permission and automatically extracts actionable insights. The service includes:

• Continuous background recording with your explicit permission
• Real-time voice activity detection and speaker identification, including creating voice patterns (voiceprints) for you and for the recurring people you talk to, so we can label who said what
• Automatic extraction of tasks with deadlines, calendar events, and creative ideas
• Secure server-side processing for transcription and analysis in every storage mode
• Daily summaries of your conversations and insights
• Location-based reminders for recommendations
• A choice of where your results are saved — on your device, or encrypted in your cloud account

Server processing applies in every mode. Your audio is processed on our servers regardless of which storage mode you choose. The storage mode controls only where the extracted results are saved — "local" storage means results are saved on your device, and does not mean processing happens only on your device. Raw audio is deleted immediately after processing and is never stored. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling, voiceprints, and storage modes.

3. User Accounts

• You may need to create an account to access certain features
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use & Recording Consent

You agree to:

• Obtain proper consent from all parties before recording any conversation
• Obtain any consent required by law before VONO AI creates voice patterns (voiceprints) of the other people in your conversations for speaker identification
• Comply with all local laws regarding audio recording, biometric data, and privacy
• Take full responsibility for ensuring legal compliance in your jurisdiction
• Use VONO AI only for personal productivity and not for surveillance

You agree NOT to:

• Record conversations without proper consent where required by law
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Record in locations where recording is prohibited
• Use recordings for blackmail, harassment, or any harmful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the service
• Share or distribute recordings without consent

5. Important Notice About Recording

VONO AI is designed to continuously record audio when activated. By using this service:

• You acknowledge that the app will record conversations in your vicinity
• You are solely responsible for informing others that recording is taking place
• You understand that recording laws vary by location and you must comply with all applicable laws
• You accept full legal responsibility for any recordings made

6. Intellectual Property

• VONO AI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
• You retain ownership of any content you create using our service
• By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your voice data solely for the purpose of providing the service

7. Payment and Subscriptions

• Some features may require a paid subscription
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All payments are non-refundable, except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change subscription fees upon 30 days' notice

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the site and informs users of our data collection practices.

9. Disclaimers

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The accuracy of voice transcription and task extraction may vary
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VONO AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VONO AI and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the service.

12. Termination

• We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason
• You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings
• Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VONO AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
